How about a round of golf on Day 4 of the Twelve Days of Summer series at Flinders Golf Course?
Full disclosure here: I’m not great at golf.
But I still find it a lovely way to spend the day – fresh air, exercise, catching up with friends and some fabulous sea views.

It took about four hours for us to play 18 holes today and there weren’t many minutes when we couldn’t see or hear the ocean. It certainly takes your mind off a bad hit!
A welcome calamari salad lunch washed down with some local Paringa Estate chardonnay on the clubhouse balcony finished the day off perfectly.
Every time I play (3 or 4 times a year) I make a resolution to take lessons and make this the year I learn how to play properly – maybe 2019 will finally be that year!
